I was given a gift certificate to broadest collection of instrumental/fusion/jazz music in the world (Abstract Logix) and decided to take a chance on a guy I’d never heard of. Starting at the letter ‘A’, I worked my way through determined to find another amazing player that I had yet to hear of, I didn’t get very far down the list before discovering Adam Rogers.

It’s very Sunday-morning-ish type stuff, but he’s a good player with very interesting phrasing. Put it on, make a pot of coffee, and wake up…it’s all good.

Was working with using multiple SM75 mics to gain a wider more 3D sound. Was able to successfully mic two separate 12″ speakers, one vintage and one modern. I could then pan each of the recorded channels wide left and wide right respectively. I think this is some of the better tone I’ve been able to capture from this amp.
